We will aim for the early implementation of innovative systems and social services, and disseminate them both within Japan and globally as a smart city model that has taken root in community life and culture, as well as in people’s sense of values, to contribute to the creation of smart cities around the world
Local communities are facing a multitude of challenges. We are holding networking meetings with municipalities, businesses, and so on from within Japan and globally so that they can see examples of forward-thinking initiatives, which will in turn let them create new initiatives appropriate for their community.
We are promoting a venue for community–business matching to create synergy between communities with social problems and companies with the cutting-edge technology and know-how to solve those problems so that they can create a new social system and business model.
We are promoting joint exhibitions at Smart City Expos (international symposiums and business exhibitions) held in Europe and other regions to globally disseminate advanced projects, drive the global smart city market, and contribute to the creation of smart cities around the globe.
